FAQ
Do you offer the Basestation with other connectors?
On request the basestation can be fitted with the following connectors:
- Canare SMPTE 311 Hybrid
- Neutrik Opticalcon Duo*
- Fieldcast 2Core*
- Dual LC*
* Available on request. Fieldcast and LC are NON Hybrid!
Can I upgrade to genlock & timecode later?
Due to the hardware inside the converters and Basestation are different compared to a Genlock / Timecode version. There is no upgrade path to add this at a later time.
I already own MK1 hardware, is MK2 compatible with my existing hardware?
Yes MK1 and MK2 hardware will work together with some limitations! MK2 converters communicate with the Basestation and give converter info back to the Basestation. While MK1 does not have this option on a hardware level.
Also MK2 with GT ( Genlock Timecode ) will only function with Genlock on MK1 Basestations.
